ROLE

59 Wild Merch is looking for a (Senior) Data Analyst to join our growing Data Team. We are eager to find a BI/ Analytics expert who is good at both hands-on data pipelines building and business opportunity exploration to bring our team to the next level.

You will have the opportunity to deal with a variety of exciting business challenges in a fast growing startup, build solid data foundations with other Data talents and cross-functional teams, and own the end-to-end data projects to deliver actionable insights that drive business value.

• Deep-Dive Analysis: Perform deep dive analysis, conduct A/B testings and provide actionable insights to drive business growth.
• Data Pipelines: Partner with Data Engineers to build robust aggregate reporting tables from raw data layers to BI reporting layers. Integrate cross data sources’ data including both web/ app user behavior, purchasing records, marketing touch points. Make sure the tables could support analytical needs and debug data discrepancies.
• Reporting and Visualization: Develop measurement frameworks and build self-service dashboards to cross functional stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional and Cross-Location Collaboration: Work closely with teams including Marketing, Product, Engineering and Finance to provide data solutions.

ABOUT YOU

• 2+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably in the e-commerce industry or other 2C industries.
• Strong SQL skill is a must. Able to write complex queries using aggregate functions, CTE and optimize complex queries.
• Experience in writing data pipelines and solid understanding with concepts of ETL/ELT.
• Strong problem-solving skills and communication skills to deliver actionable insights.
• Fluency in data visualization tools, Looker Studio and/or Tableau.
• Familiar with web and mobile tracking tools like Google Analytics and Mixpanel.
• Understanding of statistics and experience with A/B testing.
• Able to deal with ambiguity in a fast growing environment.
• Fluency in English.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Domain knowledge of CRM (including customer segmentation and email marketing), revenue reporting, web/ app development, social media marketing.
• Understanding of Python and dbt.
• Have a growth mindset to apply new data techniques.​​​​​​​
